Both government and private channels will be facilitating this registration process, and the Ministry has made it clear that no extensions will be granted beyond the stipulated deadline.

Earlier, on Monday, an official release signed by Md Abubakar Siddique, the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry, stated that registration for those intending to participate in the 2025 Hajj would begin on September 1.
According to the announcement, individuals who have pre-registered in previous years, as well as new applicants, are eligible to complete their preliminary registration by depositing Tk 300,000. The remaining balance of the Hajj package must be paid within the timeframe specified for each package.
The ministry’s statement also mentioned that the final cost of the Hajj package for 2025 will be determined based on the costs associated with the Saudi Arabian segment of the pilgrimage, including airfare. However, efforts will be made to reduce the overall cost compared to the previous year.

Hajj agencies will also have the option to send pilgrims under special packages. The preliminary list of qualified agencies to conduct Hajj operations is available at www.hajj.gov.bd, and further information can be obtained by calling 16136.
For those wishing to undertake the Hajj through government channels, payments must be made to the “Proceeds of Hajj Deposit” account number 0002633000908 at the Sonali Bank PLC, Local Office Branch, Motijheel, Dhaka.
The deposit can be made at any branch of Sonali Bank using a voucher. On the other hand, those registering through private channels must deposit the required amount into the account designated by their chosen Hajj agency.
The ministry has urged those suffering from terminal illnesses such as cancer, advanced cardiac disease, liver cirrhosis, kidney disease, infectious tuberculosis, dementia, and those who are pregnant or unable to move independently, to refrain from registering for the Hajj.
