Moderate rain likely over country
It is likely to occur at most places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at some places over the country, said the Met office on Wednesday (July 3).
Meanwhile, monsoons is active in Bangladesh and strong elsewhere in the North Bay.
However, with an extended weather outlook for the next 72 hours, the Met office predicted that the rainfall activity is likely to decrease.
The country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 34.2 degrees Celsius in Bhola, while Wednesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 23.5 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.
The sun will set at 6:50pm on Wednesday and rise at 5:16am on Thursday in Dhaka.
