T20 WC final: India reach 75-3 off 10 overs against South Africa

India looked to be in deep trouble after losing consecutive wickets in the T20 World Cup final.

Rabada sent off Suryakumar for three as India was reduced to 34-3 by the South African bowlers at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29.

However, the ongoing 47-run partnership formed between Kohli and Axar has subdued the early pressure, and India finished the first 10 overs, amassing decent runs on the scoresheet.

This is the first World Cup final appearance for the South African men’s side in their long cricketing history.

Meanwhile, India will be looking to secure their first T20 title since 2007.

India scored 181 in their Super 8 game against Afghanistan, and Australia amassed 201 in their game against England. Both teams are unbeaten in the tournament and are coming up with unchanged squads.

South Africa (Playing XI): Quinton de Kock (w), Reeza Hendricks, Aiden Markram (c), Tristan Stubbs, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Tabraiz Shamsi

India (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma (c), Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (w), Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah
