T20 WC final: India set 177-run target for South Africa

India had a disastrous start and were reduced to 34-3. But they came back quite strongly with a 72-run stand between Virat Kohli and Axar Patel.After Axar’s departure for 47, Kohli carried on and clinched a stunning 76 off 59.India amassed 176 runs with the expense of seven wickets.

This is the first World Cup final appearance for the South African men’s side in their long cricketing history.Meanwhile, India will be looking to secure their first T20 title since 2007.

India scored 181 in their Super 8 game against Afghanistan, and Australia amassed 201 in their game against England. Both teams are unbeaten in the tournament and are coming up with unchanged squads.
